I know! I know!
Between the Lovable Mutts, the Playful Puppies, and More Playful Puppies - plus Fluffy the Puppy and Sam the Shaggy Dog - I’ve got a LOT of dog applique patterns!
But I didn’t have just a single-block, plain-old-dog dog pattern. And I needed one for some of the bundles I’ve been working on!
Now that I have this guy, I’ve got almost all the animals for a Lunar Zodiac bundle.
And I’m just one block away from having a Pets bundle.
You all voted last week on Taylor Turtle to finish out the pets collection, so I’m working on updating that pattern now.
And Darcy Dog will fit right in with the Lovable Mutts!

I actually designed Darcy to be a bit mix & matchable with the Lovable Mutts crew, so imagine, if you will, his square head, combined with the triangle-ish muzzle from the purple dog in the bottom row, and the pointy ears of the green dog in the second row. Voilà! A brand-new dog!

I’m working on updating this cutie-patootie turtle pattern!
Once I have him updated, the Pets Bundle will be finished! Woo hoo!
But I’ll also be one block closer to a Pond Life Bundle, a second Woodland Critters Bundle, and a Reptiles & Amphibians Bundle.
I want there to be lots of different discounted bundles where you can combine the individual blocks in lots of different ways.
Before I finish the turtle, I need to make a new image for the February calendar coming on Saturday.
Ginny Giraffe and Lucien Lion are two of my most popular patterns, but I haven’t done papercut versions of either of them for the calendar yet.

For anyone who’s daunted by the thought of making a whole quilt, or who’s raising money for an organization that usually does better with lower-priced items, a pillow (or six) might be just the right way to go!
