Love the idea of a Silent Reading Party. I might have issues with the background music--sometimes that can be distracting for my ADHD.

This promises to be no-words mellow strumming, quiet enough not to overpower the bird and insect sounds. :-) I've found that "lofi" music often helps me focus very deeply. If you're curious, this is my favorite channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfKfPfyJRdk Now that I think of it, that channel is kind of my very own personal silent reading party. I love that when I glance up at the screen I see her quietly studying beside me while I do my own work. :-)

I will be heading back to NC while you are finishing your amazing Silent Reading Party. I’ve had a lovely week with my friend in Willamette Valley and Mt. Hood regions, and hope to catch a glimpse of you next time I am blessed to travel this way. Oregon is so so beautiful- I think this every time I visit! Enjoy your SRP!
