There’s a brand-new pattern in my Shiny Happy World!
Meet Vigo - a cute vulture!
(I was so pleased that I was able to give him a hint of a smile - that’s hard to do with beaks!)
There are SO MANY different kinds of vultures all over the world - this will be a great addition to lots of different quilts. You can see below the three versions I made, including a California Condor inspired by the ones here at the Portland Zoo.

Vultures mostly come in shades of gray or brown, but a lot of them have a pink or salmon-ish head like my condor.
I’m always so curious to see which you choose. 🥰
With the addition of Vigo, this is where my ABC sample stands so far.
I know a few people were hoping for a vole. I’m planning to update the Peekaboo Mouse pattern to also include a full-sized version, and that will work really well for a little vole. I’m hoping to get to that in January. 🙂
In the meantime, I’m working on an X-ray Tetra for X and I’m really happy with how it’s turning out! You’ll be able to make it without the bones to just make a simple goldfish, and you’ll also be able to use the bones all on their own for added half-blocks in your cat quilts, which I think will be a really fun addition. 😂
