Hi,

I would love a griffin, like DWJ's Elda. They could be named George or Georgette.

Could a castle work even though it's not a 'face?' Or a gingerbread house? ❤ I remember drawing gingerbread houses over and over as a kid.

I actually have thoughts/sketches for a mix & match castle quilt that would be separate from this. I think it'll be a lot of fun to play with!

I was at Rose City too!! It definitely is a bit overwhelming, Saturday was soooo crowded! Loved meeting Doug Jones, he was so sweet! The Ghostbusters display was so fun too! Hope you had a great time!

Also a few more mythical creatures I would like to see are a gnome, leprechaun , phoenix!, mermaid, Griffen , Bigfoot!! There are actually so many fun ones!

Maybe a 'Nessie", Loch Ness Monster, might fit in with the group.

I've been thinking about a separate cryptids bundle that would be a lot of fun. 🙂

Hello Wendi, I like fairies, and unicorns, clouds with happy faces. Big stars, simplified rainbows. And yes I realize there's not too many animals in this selection. But it's just my thoughts !!...

I think a Pegasus and a Gryphon. I would love a Basilisk, but good luck settling on what it looks like (I did a Basilisk poetry project [http://tanitasdavis.com/wp/?p=13353 ]based on the artwork of Robert Benavidez, and it was fun researching but not illuminating on its appearance). A mermaid is an easy shot, and for fun you can lean towards a plump and nontraditionally svelte-with-shell-bra look or lean into the colors and fishiness more.... I could go on! It'll all be cool. Can't wait to see what you choose.

Eeep! I went into a deep dive of Robert Benavidez's work a few years ago and I had forgotten all about it. He's amazing! Thanks so much for the reminder!

sprite, griffin, phoenix, pegasus, hippogriff

but most of the creatures are actually quite scary and meant to scare children. I'm having a hard time thinking of a minotaur or a chimera as cute.

But I suppose if C.S. Lewis can, you can too. LOL!

Hippogriff, sphinx, centaur, elf. I would love mermaid, fairy(I'd do summer, autumn, winter, spring versions) and phoenix.
