You all voted for the fierce owl for this month’s wallpaper. Here’s how you can get that cutie. . .
If you want the wallpaper (with or without the November calendar) it’s free! You can get it here. There’s also a tall option, better for phones.
If you want the applique pattern you can get that here.
If you want the printable art (including a PNG with a transparent background) you can get that here. There’s a tutorial here showing how to use printable files to make cute greeting cards.
If you’re a paid subscriber DO NOT buy the printable files. They’re your free download this week! 🎉 Keep scrolling until you get the the section called The Download. That’s where you’ll find the links you need. 🥰
Time for me to start working on the December calendar!
I can’t wait to see what you choose!
I finally drew a vulture I like! I even got it to look like he’s smiling a bit - which is hard with beaks!
This week I’ll be working on sample making for the new vulture pattern, the remake of the Frasier Frog pattern, and a new dove to go with all the other free Christmas applique patterns.
Here’s your weekly dose of awesomeness from the Shiny Happy People group!
Look at the beautiful quilt that Brenda made with the Cassidy Cow pattern! I love seeing a single block pattern repeated over and over again in different color and fabric combinations - it’s just loads of fun and so satisfying!
Head over to the Shiny Happy People group on Facebook to see lots more wonderfulness people are making with my patterns—and to ask questions and share photos of your own projects. It’s my favorite place on the internet.
In an effort to make this newsletter short enough to go through most email providers without getting chopped off, I’ve broken out some favorite pieces to give them their own days.
Wednesday is for inspiration - favorite artists, books, recipes, and more. In last week’s Five Happy Things - Spooky Stories of Spooky Houses, this book got the most clicks. I hope you like it! It’s creeeeeepy.
Friday is for oldies but goodies from the archives. Last week this post got the most clicks. Lots of people must be making stuffed animals for the babies in their lives!
And last Monday, this cutie got the most clicks!
You can always change which newsletters you receive by clicking this link. In the Notifications section, choose which mailings you do and don’t want. Easy peasy!
As I mentioned above, the download this week is a set of printables for Octavian Owl.
If you don’t want to pay for Everything Under the Sun access ($5 per month or $50 per year), you can purchase the printables here. Easy peasy! 🥰 Have fun with them!
That’s the end of the newsletter for free subscribers. Thanks so much for reading - and I hope you have a fabulous week!
