Hello, friends!
I’ve got a brand new pattern for you today.
Meet Marlow Macaw!
Macaws come in every color of the rainbow - and they’re all magnificent. I made four samples: a scarlet macaw, a hyacinth macaw, a blue-gold macaw, and a severe macaw. Here you can see all of them.
You can mix and match the pieces (breast, eye spots, wing details, etc.) to create even more varieties!
Have fun with the new pattern! You can get it here.
Look at the beautiful quilt that Crystal made! I can’t believe this is her first time trying applique! She used a few different individual applique patterns and combined them with a geometric pieced pattern for a really lovely effect. I love how the shoulders extend into the colored frames, and how the faces fill the diamonds. I especially love the little Peekaboo Mouse peeking into the star block in the top right corner! 🙂 Click through to Crystal’s post for more details about the patterns she used.
Head over to the Shiny Happy People group on Facebook to see lots more wonderfulness people are making with my patterns—and to ask questions and share photos of your own projects. It’s my favorite place on the internet!
Thanks so much for reading! Have a fabulous week!
Happy stitching!
Best,
Wendi
