Larissa Holland of Mmmcrafts designs - hands down - my very favorite Christmas ornament patterns. She’s got the Twas the Night series and the Ebenezer series. Both are awesome, but I decided to show the Twelve Days series because I think it’s the best for beginners to this style of ornament making. And she’s doing a 12 Days in 12 Months make-along this year! Like my own patterns, Larissa doesn’t use obscure or difficult stitches. She just puts simple stitches together in an extraordinarily beautiful way! They look way more difficult to make than they actually are. Give them a try!
Seeing Larissa’s fun 12 Days in 12 Months project on Instagram has inspired me to have a little Christmas in July celebration with my own patterns. I just created an Every-Day-No-Code-Needed bundle discount on all my individual felt ornament patterns. They’re all Buy 2 Get 1 Free all the time now! Just add any three individual felt ornament patterns to your cart and the discount will be applied automatically. This star is my most popular pattern, but my personal favorites are this dinosaur, this rocket, and this dala horse. If you want to make a BUNCH of ornaments these pattern bundles from 2014 and 2015 are your best deal.
I probably shouldn’t tell you this, but this mini-stocking advent calendar pattern is one of the worst-selling patterns I’ve ever designed. But I love it! I think all the geometric patterns on each stocking are so pretty! (I’m partial to this colorful version, but I also made some samples with white stitching on red, green, and gingerbread-colored felt, and they were also lovely!) The idea is to fill the stockings with candy, small toys, special notes - whatever you like! - and string them all up on a garland to open one a night. Maybe the pattern was too expensive? I’ve made it 50% off for the rest of July to see what happens. 🙂
This gingerbread house is one of my favorite free patterns. It’s a great way to use some colorful felt scraps!
I created a mini collection of holiday fabric over on Spoonflower called Holly Jolly Christmas. It includes the designs you see here, plus a few others - including cheater quilt fabric and cut & sew Christmas stockings.
Bonus! Did you know that ALL my Christmas applique patterns are free? There are eight so far, and I add a new one almost every year. You can find them all here.
Enjoy!
Best,
Wendi

Easy peasy!
I worked at a summer camp for five years, so Christmas in July was A THING in my life for a long time. At home, we never did Advent calendars nor stockings, but I love the stitching on the mini ornaments. I just thrifted some scrap felt to begin working on making felt ornaments for homemade cards, so your sale is good timing - but I am WAAAAY too slow of a stitcher (and constantly forget how to make French knots and have to watch the video again. And again. And again. Yay, dyscalculia🙄) for all of this gorgeous stuff! Someday!!!
Thanks for the pretties.
