Benjamin Badger and Heidi Hedgehog Get a Makeover
Plus - a beautiful garden full of birds made by Betty!
Hello, friends!
Instead of a new pattern this week, I’ve got an update on two older patterns.
Benjamin Badger and. . .
Both patterns have been updated with SVG files for use with electric cutting machines, videos showing assembly using a light box, and (most importantly) both patterns now include optional eyelashes. 🥰
Woo hoo!
Would you love a shortcut way to know which block patterns include SVGs and light box assembly videos?
If you go to the shop section for individual block patterns, look at the cover images for the patterns.
If there’s a little white logo stripe at the bottom of the cover image, that means the pattern is fully updated.
Easy peasy!
You’ll notice that almost all of the patterns now have that little stripe. There are only 22 individual block patterns still waiting for an update. 🎉
I’m trying to weave these updates in between new block pattern releases so I keep making progress on that project. My goal was to get all of them updated by the end of the year. I’m not sure I’ll reach that goal (basically, I’m writing a new pattern almost from scratch every time), but I think I’ll get close.
Next week will be another new pattern week - with the new mosquito pattern! Here’s a little sneak peek.
I still need to record a video showing how to transfer the markings needed to stitch those long, dangly legs. That’s my top priority this week!
Look at the gorgeous quilt that Betty made! (Definitely click through to see the beautiful fabric she chose for the back.) She combined the Chirp pattern with the Wild Flowers pattern to make a lovely garden full of birds. So pretty!
Head over to the Shiny Happy People group on Facebook to see lots more wonderfulness people are making with my patterns—and to ask questions and share photos of your own projects. It’s my favorite place on the internet!
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you love the new patterns, and I hope you have a fabulous week!
Happy stitching!
Best,
Wendi
